Open any thread to see the full conversation history with a guest. Each message shows who sent it, the content, a timestamp, and which platform the conversation is on.
Replying
Type your message in the reply box and send. It's delivered through the platform the guest originally messaged on -- if they wrote on Airbnb, your reply appears in their Airbnb inbox.
AI Suggestions
With the AI in Controlled mode, you'll see suggested replies (snippets) above the reply box. Click one to load it into the reply field, edit if needed, then send. You can always ignore the suggestions and write your own reply.
The more complete your property listing, the better the suggestions. If the AI is missing information in its responses, check whether that detail is in your listing.
Attachments
Click the attachment icon to send images or files (JPEG, PNG, PDF when supported). Attachments from guests appear inline in the thread.
Note: Attachment support varies by platform. Some platforms restrict file types or sizes. Hosto will let you know if an attachment can't be delivered.
Conversation Context
Each thread links to the guest's reservation and property details, so you can look up booking info without leaving the conversation. You can also see and change the AI mode for that thread from the header.
Message Labels
Messages show how they were created:
AI -- sent automatically by AI (Autopilot mode)
AI suggested -- you sent an AI suggestion after editing it
No label -- you wrote it yourself
