All guest messages from every connected platform land in Messages. No more switching between the Airbnb and Vrbo apps to keep up with conversations.
The inbox has two main areas: a thread list on the left (sorted by most recent activity) and a conversation view on the right showing the selected thread's full history.
Each thread shows:
Guest name
Property the conversation belongs to
Platform (Airbnb, Vrbo)
Last message preview
Timestamp of the most recent message
Unread indicator for new messages
Unread messages are highlighted so you can spot what needs attention at a glance.
Messages arrive in real time -- no refreshing needed. The same goes for new bookings and reservation status changes. As long as Hosto is open in your browser and you have an internet connection, updates appear the moment they happen.
If you lose connectivity temporarily, everything syncs when your connection resumes.
When you reply through Hosto, your response goes through the original platform. The guest sees it in their Airbnb or Vrbo inbox as usual -- they never need to know you're using a separate tool.
