Most Airbnb connection problems can be resolved in a few steps. Find your issue below and follow the fix.
Make sure you're logging into the correct Airbnb account during authorization. Clear your browser cookies for Airbnb and try again. Check that pop-up windows aren't blocked, since the authorization flow opens in a new window.
If Airbnb itself shows an error page, wait a few minutes and retry. Airbnb's servers occasionally have brief outages.
Airbnb requires periodic re-authorization of connected apps. This is normal and expected.
Go to Accounts, find the account, and click Reconnect. Log in to Airbnb and re-authorize. Your properties and settings are preserved.
First, check if the import is still in progress — a progress indicator shows on the dashboard during initial import. If the import finished but properties are missing, verify that the Airbnb account has active listings (paused or deactivated listings may not import).
If properties are still missing, try disconnecting and reconnecting the account.
Check the account status on the Accounts page. If you see a warning, reconnect the account. If the status shows Active, try a manual sync from the property's detail page.
Your change may still be pending. Check the sync status on the property page — if it shows Syncing, wait a few minutes for it to complete. If the status is Active and the change still hasn't appeared, trigger a manual sync.
If the change fails repeatedly, check for sync errors on the property page.
Occasionally Airbnb rejects a change that Hosto tries to sync. The error details appear on the property page. Common causes include:
Setting a nightly rate below Airbnb's minimum price
Modifying dates that Airbnb has restricted
Updating a listing field that Airbnb temporarily locked
Review the error, fix the issue in Hosto, and the next sync will retry.
Go to Accounts, find the account, and click Reconnect. Re-authorize with Airbnb. This refreshes the connection without affecting your properties or settings.
